CrossRoads Missions · Louisville, KY

Mission trips, made simple for participants and field leaders.

CrossRoads Missions provides hands-on mission opportunities in Appalachia, Mexico, New Orleans, and beyond — through construction, medical, and disaster-relief trips. The CrossRoads app connects participants with their team, schedule, and stories — so trip leaders can focus on the work.

What is the CrossRoads app?

The CrossRoads Missions mobile app and admin portal support participants and field leaders during active mission trips. Built for the six fields where CrossRoads operates: Appalachia, Mexico, New Orleans, Operation Recovery, Help Build Hope, and the Crossroads HQ.

The mobile app lives only with active trip participants — not the general public. Access is granted by invite link, QR code at a field base, or geofence verification at a CrossRoads field location.

How it works

Step 01

A trip leader invites participants

Field admins generate a per-trip invite link or QR code. Participants tap the link, sign in via magic link, and join the trip in 4 taps or fewer.

Step 02

Age-aware onboarding

Self-declared birthdate. Under 13 is blocked. Ages 13-17 require verifiable parental consent before any user-generated content. Adults proceed to Privacy Policy + Terms acceptance.

Step 03

Daily trip operations

Personalized live schedules, daily devotionals, team-based assignments (no individual names — kid-safety driver), and bilingual EN/ES support throughout.

Step 04

Stories + giving

Participants submit stories tagged to the field; field staff approve before posting. In-app donations route through Bloomerang. 100% of merch revenue stays with CrossRoads.

Privacy + safety

  • COPPA-aware design. Users under 13 are blocked at signup; ages 13-17 require parental consent before any user-generated content.
  • No individual names on schedules. Schedules show team-based assignments only (Team A / Team B), never named individuals — a kid-safety design choice.
  • Geofence is supplementary, never required. Location permission is optional; users can always onboard via QR or invite link without granting location.

App Store + Google Play — coming January 2027

The CrossRoads app is in active development for an early-2027 launch. Active trip participants will receive an invite link from their trip leader.
